Wow....

...have i neglected this blog or what. Summer was here, and now it's gone. I start classes on monday. It's not like i've wanted to stop blogging, i just sort of did, because life got in the way. It was truly an amazing summer.

my internship was fantastic. i learned so so much, got great cases, argued in court, made great contacts and awesome references. i have to say that i feel more like an actual attorney now, after completing this summer, than i have ever. usually i just feel like an imposter in those business suits and heels. but by august 6, i had more confidence and felt more comfortable in work situations than i ever have before.

i continued to build what i consider my first "real" relationship in a long time. then he ended it. abruptly, without explanation.

we planned and executed my sister in laws baby shower. we bought many gifts. the shower was amazing and our family is bursting at the seams with love excitement over Baby K's impending birth.

we moved my grandmother to assisted living. and although it was a long and hard road, she has adjusted well. i have visited a few times. but almost 2 months later, we know whole-heartedly that it was the absolute best decision we've made for both her and us.

i will definitely blog much more about these events in more detail. but for now, i wanted to let anyone reading know that i'm still here, and regularly scheduled blogging will return :) i'm just trying to enjoy my last few days of freedom before classes!
